Nike is always on the lookout for the next generation of footwear designers, and thanks to their Future Sole design competition, young up-and-comers get a chance to show off their skills. Last year’s contest was a big hit, using a Flight/Force theme to bring new ideas to life. The competition is back for 2009 and this time around there will be both Nike and Jordan design categories. The contest will be open to high school students between the ages of 14 and 19 with a restriction of only one sneaker design per applicant for each category.
